THE following applications have been received by Cotswold District Council.

Chedworth: The Old Farm, Hawks Lane, willow (T1) – reduce height 30 per cent, occlusion in base needs pressure relieving, client wishes to save tree if possible, ash (T2) – dismantle, leaning towards road and into telephone lines, low value self seed, sycamore (T3) – dismantle, leaning towards road and into telephone lines, low value tree, previously pollarded.

Cheltenham: The Bath House, Dowdeswell Court, Dowdeswell, holm oak (T1) – reduce crown to following dimensions, height 18 metres, N 8metres, E 7.5metres, S 9metres, W 8metres, SW 7metres, shape cuts into remainder of crown ensuring a reduction of all regenerative growth, also prune to give two metres clearance from bath house, leaving main limb intact, holm oak (T2) – reduce in height to 13metres and prune to clear building by three metres; Slys Cottage, Colesbourne, compliance with condition 5 of application 16/03422/FUL, change of use to letting rooms (C1) for the Colesbourne Inn.

Cirencester: 34 Oaklands, sycamore (T1) – fell due to crown bias over the road and competing with T2, maple (T2) – crown lift to three metres, maple (T3) – crown lift to three metres, sycamore (T4) – two metres lateral cutback from the birch group, two metres lateral cutback on the roadside up to eight metres; 19 Prospect Place, beech (T1) – 35 per cent crown reduction, beech (T2) – 35 per cent crown reduction, both trees clearly visible from the entrance to property, on the area to the left of property when facing it from the road, see attached sketch plan and photos; County Primary School, Victoria Road, coppicing and pollarding work; 21 Purley Road, common lime x2 – thinning and reduction, ash – dismantle and felling, see notes; 5 Weavers Road, single storey rear extension with flat roof, proposed extension 3.5 metres beyond the rear wall of the original dwelling, height to the eaves 2.9 metres, maximum height from natural ground level 3.8 metres including roof lantern; Top Barn, Duntisbourne Leer, retention of a mobile home for use by equestrian worker and small timber office/shelter for therapeutic equestrian purposes.

Fairford: The Close, The Croft, pear – remove, hazel – remove.

Frampton Mansell: The Manor, silver birch (T1) is to have an entire canopy reduction of two to three metres, deadwood removed and 20 per cent thin, two leylandii (T2) stems are to have lower leaning limbs towards the property removed.

Kemble: The Old Bakery, School Road, non-material amendment to application 16/01310/FUL to replace curved roof dormers with pitch gable dormers to the south elevation; Little Haynes Barn, proposed alterations to garage to provide ancillary accommodation.

Lechlade: 1 Stephens Close, Downington, formation of patio and erection of shed, retrospective works.

Longborough: New Cottages, Ganborough Road, change of use from two dwellings (C3) to six guest suites (C1 Hotel) as additional accommodation for The Coach & Horses Inn.

Meysey Hampton: Hill House, High Street, insertion of two side facing dormer windows.
