A WOMAN from Malmesbury was reunited with a bracelet of huge sentimental value thanks to an online community networking group.

Anna Partridge lost a bracelet given to her before her father's death three years ago.

“The bracelet is irreplaceable,” she said. “My dad bought it for me just before he died of lung cancer three years ago and my husband has filled it with charms for every birthday, Christmas and anniversary since I have had it.

“I lost it between the Activity Zone and Station Yard car park towards the end of last week, maybe Thursday or Friday, but I only noticed it missing on Saturday morning as I am so used to wearing it and never take it off.”

After a friend posted about the missing bracelet on the Make Malmesbury Even Better Facebook group, postal worker Christine O'Neill said she had found it and was able to reunite the bracelet with its owner.

Anna thanked Mrs O’Neill for returning her treasured Pandora bracelet safely by sending her flowers and was left astounded when she discovered Mrs O'Neill worked in the same industry as her father.

She said: “I was overjoyed and so relieved when I found out she had the bracelet.

“The fact that she was a post lady was unbelievable considering my dad's time with the Post Office.

“We certainly have some truly kind and generous people in our community.

“I would certainly like to thank Christine for what she did. My relief is immeasurable.”
