- QUENINGTON Society Talk – Photographs of Horace W Nicholls, on Friday, February 17 in Quenington Village Hall. Horace W Nicholls (1867-1941) was one of Britain’s best known photographers of the early 20th century and is considered one of the world’s first true photojournalists. Quenington resident David Mallinson presents a slideshow of his grandfather’s work, including the Boer War, Edwardian Britain and his best known First World War images from the Imperial War Museum archive. 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Entrance £3.
