THE A429 is closed in both directions north of Moreton-in-Marsh following a serious road traffic accident.
Police and ambulance crews are at the scene, after two vehicles collided between A44 Oxford Street and B4035 near Portabello Farm, Shipston-on-Stour earlier this afternoon.
Motorists are being advised to find alternative routes, with no indication yet when the road will be re-opened.
It is the second time in the space of a week that the road has been closed after a woman had to be airlifted to hospital after a crash last Friday.
