ALL STAR Wrestling returns to Cheltenham on Sunday, February 5 with an afternoon bill at the Town Hall from 3pm that brings fresh challenges for local contenders Kian Kelly, Olly Lloyd and Dan Splash.

Kelly, originally from Devises and known to wrestling followers as 'The Fox,' was trained by Bristol-born ring legend Danny Collins and joins forces with Exeter-based West Country favourite Oliver Grey who is still in outstanding form after returning from more than two years of American action with the NXT Division of WWE.

They are set to take on Norfolk's ever-explosive combination of Roy and Zack Knight, the Norwich-based brothers, sons of former 'Super Flys' tag team star Ricky Knight, who campaign as the 'UK Hooligans' and have run up a tremendous list of tag successes while also remaining top contenders for individual honours.

Olly Lloyd, from Tredworth, Gloucester, and a student at the Beaufort Co-operative Academy, came into wrestling via a stunt team he joined at the tender age of 12 and made his All Star ring debut in Cheltenham last Easter.

This time, just a few days before his 17th birthday, Olly competes in an eliminator for a Gloucester Guildhall title match next month taking-on Blackpool's equally ambitious blonde haired flier James Drake.

James, 27, from Stroud, recently impressed in WWE's British eliminations at Blackpool and previously campaigned as JD Bryan Dan Splash.

He has been wrestling since the age of 14 when he started travelling to Swindon for tuition at the well-known 4FW School.

A high flying middleweight, his Town Hall opponent is to be announced on the eve of the event.

The supporting line-up also includes heavyweight action as South London-born James Mason gives away weight against 30 stones bearded force Jim Diehard, the heavier half of the notorious 'Henchmen' tag team.

  •  Ticket prices, including a special £45 family offer covering two adults and two children, have been held at 2016 levels and are now on sale at the Town Hall box office, telephone 08445 762210. Further information about the event will appear on All Star's website superslamwrestling.com and Facebook at All Star Wrestling UK.
