CIRENCESTER Market place is up and running as shoppers enjoy the second Charter Market today since the opening of the regenerated town centre.
The regenerated Market Place has meant that there is more space outside the Parish Church for the Charter and Farmers' markets in the town.
It is hoped that Cirencester's markets will be bigger and better with the new Market Place and its new operators Cotswold Markets Ltd.
Since mid November, Cotswold Markets Ltd. have been employed by Cirencester Town Council to run the town's themed markets.
The company, established in 1990, have been operating markets for many years including Moreton-in-Marsh, Tewkesbury and Cheltenham Farmer’s and Arts & Craft Markets.
