A WANDERING wallaby has wound up in Wiltshire.

A roaming wallaby was sighted in Malmesbury yesterday, to the shock of many.

Corinna Elsey hopped onto social media to inform neighbours of her find, saying: “Wallaby spotted on Filands Road just on the grass verge opposite Bloor Homes development.

“Has anyone lost a pet wallaby or know someone who has them?”

Wallabies have been sighted in the area before but are rare.

Though native to Australia, the macropods do live in the wild in the UK.
