The offenders yesterday forced entry into the Co-op on Station Road, stole cigarettes and alcohol, then made off in a vehicle.
Officers located the vehicle near Andoversford, with the driver refusing to stop when requested. A pursuit resulted in the vehicle coming to a stop on the A417.
The offenders attempted to run away but officers caught up with two of them.
