TWO men have been arrested after a burglary at a supermarket in Bourton-on-the-Water in the early hours of this morning, following a police chase.
The burglary was reported to police at around 1.30am as the incident was ongoing.
Offenders forced entry to the Co-op on Station Road and stole cigarettes and alcohol.
They then made off from the scene in a vehicle.
Officers located the vehicle near Andoversford, with the driver refusing to stop when requested.
A pursuit commenced, resulting in the vehicle coming to a stop on the A417.
The offenders attempted to run away from the scene but officers caught up with them and arrested them.
Two men, aged 26, from Gloucester, and 38, of no fixed abode, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
They remain in custody.
