A PHILANTHROPIC group from Malmesbury who support countless local causes has appointed three new trustees to their team.

The Malmesbury League of Friends (MLOF) welcomed Alex Morgan, Keith Maslin and Wendy Harris recently, bringing their total of trustees up to 13.

Alex Morgan is a director of Abbey Communications, a Malmesbury-based business language training centre and has worked in human resources and leadership development. She has also been a governor of Malmesbury School and has previous experience as a charity trustee.

Keith Maslin runs his own estate agency, Blount & Maslin, in Malmesbury and has lived and worked in the town for nearly 30 years. He is a member of the Malmesbury & St Pauls Without Residents Association, chair of the Malmesbury Bonfire & Fireworks Committee and a former member of Malmesbury Round Table.

Wendy Harris has lived in Malmesbury for over 30 years and owned the Fromagerie delicatessen, now Capers, for six years. She currently works as a receptionist at a dental practice in the town.

MLOF chairman Robin Clark said he was “delighted” to welcome the new trustees.

He said: “Their varied experience will be invaluable. All three are active in the town.”
