Festive Charity Dog Walk a First for the Cotswolds

FOR anyone who enjoys walking and Cotswold scenery, Sunday 4th December 2016 is the time to don your winter walking boots and relish some of the best views in the Cotswolds – and all for a wonderful cause.

The event, which is open to everyone (with or without a dog), has been organised by Cotswold estate agents, Jackson-Stops & Staff, in aid of the Watershed Riding for the Disabled Association.

It will take place at Longhill in Duntisbourne Abbots, GL7 7JN*, on Sunday, December 4.

Duntisbourne Abbots boasts some of the best views in the Cotswolds with its rolling hills, gently babbling streams, beautiful architecture and ford crossings.

It’s certain to be an enjoyable stroll for dogs and walkers alike.

Walkers can arrive from 10am for mulled wine, mince pies, teas and coffees and will have the opportunity to buy a raffle ticket to win one of the Cotswolds’ tastiest home-made Christmas cakes.

A planned walk will take place at approximately 11am which will last approximately one hour.

When walkers return, there will be more chances to buy raffle tickets with the draw taking place around 12.30pm.

There will also be prizes for the best dressed pet and the dog that looks most like its owner!

All donations to Watershed will also be gratefully received on the day.

It’s guaranteed to be a fun morning for all.

Watershed RDA and Jackson-Stops & Staff look forward to seeing you there.

*Please note the postcode does not take you to the house, head for Longhill Road and it will be signposted from there
