COULD I, through your pages, sincerely thank those people in Cirencester who, on Sunday, November 27, came to my assistance when I became yet another victim of ‘invisible kerb syndrome’ in the Market Place.

I consider myself to be a relatively fit 60-something and am thankful therefore I escaped with only a bruised face and shoulder.

I thank the people who were so kind to me.

I will be reporting this incident to the relevant authorities in the hope that something will be done to prevent the frequent recurrence of such incidents.

I note that this dangerous paving was a front page story with graphic pictures in your edition of August 25.
