SOME councillors in the Cotswolds and Wiltshire have not been paying their council tax on time, a report from Private Eye claims.
Information released online by the Eye has named and shamed councillors who have missed council tax deadlines, or failed to pay altogether.
The figures show that three Cotswold councillors and five Wiltshire councillors have had reminder letters sent out for late council tax.

A spokesperson for Cotswold District Council said: "From time to time people may make a mistake and miss a council tax payment.
"When councillors forget they receive no special treatment so they get sent reminders; if they still don’t pay, they face being summonsed.
"We can confirm that no Cotswold District Council members breached any regulations and, therefore, none were restricted from voting."
