THE Co-op on Gloucester Road, Malmesbury, was the scene of multiple thefts last Tuesday, October 11.
At 7.40pm two men entered the store. One of them picked up a box of chocolates and some spirits, then walked out without making any attempt to pay.
The second male took two bottles of wine and then went through the self-service checkout without scanning the items and again making no attempt to pay.
Later the same day, at 8.30pm, a known male was put under suspicion for stealing two bottles of wine.
The suspect is due to be interviewed regarding this and another offence of drink driving on the same day.
