SEVEN charities from Gloucestershire joined forces to share expertise and advice.
A charity open day, held at TSB’s Barnwood head office on October 12, was organised to help the charities better support their community.
Among the charities in attendance were Abbeyfield, Community Connexions, Building Circles, Goals Beyond Grass, The Rock, The Wiggly Worm and St Vincent’s & St George’s.
Representatives from each charity shared their ideas and made new contacts at the event.
Debbie Waterland, a personal assistant at TSB and organiser of the event, said: “It’s really fantastic to have had seven local charities in to meet TSB Partners.
“Everyone had the opportunity to talk together about what our Partners in Barnwood can offer in terms of skills transfer, such as CV writing, fraud awareness and learning about banking basics.
“The skills learned will help the charities to develop further and better serve their local communities. We look forward to hearing how the charities are progressing and developing in the future.”
