  • THIS Sunday, September 25 is Westonbirt House and garden opening. Westonbirt House will be open for guided tours between 11am and 5pm.   • THE next Tetbury and district footpath group meeting will be Tuesday, September 27 at 9.30am at the Tetbury station yard free long-stay car park. Cars will be needed for this walk to Sheepscombe via the Whiteway colony and back through Workman’s woods. 5m/8km Level:B. Leaders Chris and Shirley on 01666 502164. Please note the earlier start time as this will ensure the optional lunch at 1.30pm. 
  • ON TUESDAY, September 27 The Snooty Fox in Tetbury will host a special business event. After the meeting at Highgrove, a number of businesses wanted to follow this up with action and an update. So there will be an open day from 9am-5.30pm.   • THURSDAY, September 29 will be your chance to drop in and have a chat with a local officer at the open police meeting/surgery sessions at Tetbury Council Offices, The old courthouse, 63 Long Street. 
  • TETBURY police next neighbourhood coordination group (NCG) meeting will be on Tuesday, October 4 at 7pm and will be held at Tetbury Town Council Offices, The Old Courthouse, 63 Long Street. 
  • THE beating the bounds is on Saturday, October 1. Meet under Bath Bridge at 9.30am. A chance to have a tour of the town's boundaries. The walk is open to all ages. A tour guide will give a witty and insightful look at Tetbury's history and will conclude at the Market Hall for the presentation of the Feoffees  of Tetbury  accounts. There will also be refreshments and a display of work from St Mary's School.
  • SAVE the Children will host a coffee morning on Wednesday, October 12 at The Priory Inn Tetbury from 10am- 12noon. Christmas cards, homemade cakes and raffle.
  • POP into Tetbury Save'n'Borrow at Tetbury  Council offices, the Old Courthouse, 63 Long Street. This is part of the Stroud credit union and is run by volunteers from Tetbury churches and Tetbury Lions by the community for the community. Drop in for  a chat  any Thursday afternoon 2-4pm, to get more information.
  • TICKETS are now available for the Tetbury Longfield support group film night of Florence Foster Jenkins on Wednesday, October 26. 7pm for 7.30pm start at the Dolphin Hall new Church Street.   • THE next brick club meeting is tomorrow in the British School Room, 5.30-6.30pm for reception up to age eight and 6.30-8pm for age eight and upwards.
