A POPULAR restaurant in Cirencester today opened a new temporary pop-up deli takeaway and juice bar.

Bob Parkinson, chef patron who opened Made by Bob seven years ago, unveiled his first pop-up at a unit at the back of the Corn Hall to coincide with revamp work currently being undertaken to the main restaurant.

The new pop-up was initially due to open last Monday (September 12) but finally threw open its doors to the delight of Bob and his staff’s loyal customer base.

The pop-up was inspired by Bob’s catering work this summer with the Wilderness Festival and Aynhoe Park.

Prior to the opening, he said: “We are going to have a new juice bar and a real focus on fresh ingredients.

“I have always wanted to try something different in Cirencester and as the renovation work is going to take some time this is the perfect opportunity to give it a try.

“We will be serving great new deli takes on lunch and light snacks,” he added.

The main restaurant closed on September 10, while the pop-up will be open from 7.30am to 5.30pm each day.
