A CAR dealership in Cirencester has announced its renewed sponsorship deal with a popular equestrian centre.

The town’s Mitsubishi branch, alongside the one in Swindon, both part of the CCR Mitsubishi Group, the largest in the UK, have once again brokered a deal with Rein & Shine.

Following the success of the 2016 Summer Show Jumping League at the centre, sponsored by the two dealerships, plans for a winter series have been agreed to begin on October 22 and finish with a championship show on February 18.

The flourishing partnership has already seen the recent naming of the Mitsubishi Arena at the Buryhill equestrian centre, which opened in 2013.

John McDonald, who runs Rein & Shine with his wife Jo, said: “We’re overwhelmed to receive this continual sponsorship and to be associated with Mitsubishi.

“It’s so rewarding to have our hard-work and success recognised by such a well-known and respected brand.

“Mitsubishi is already well-established in the equine world, especially via their link with the largest, most prestigious event in the equine calendar, Badminton Horse Trials. “We have already developed a great relationship with the brand and we look forward to working with them in the future.”

Dale Bedwell, Cirencester Mitsubishi general manager, said: “We’re delighted to be able to continue our support of Rein & Shine.

“What they have achieved in a short space of time is very admirable and it’s wonderful for us to be part of it.

“The brand fits perfectly with Mitsubishi because of the history we have in the equine world.

We’re looking forward to a successful relationship and we hope Rein & Shine will continue to flourish and grow as it has done so far.”

All competition dates can be found on the website: reinandshine.co.uk and there will often be cars from Mitsubishi on display at the competitions.
