THOUSANDS turned out to support one of the highlights of the Cirencester calendar over the weekend.
The Phoenix Festival returned, bringing with it 80 acts performing over five stages.
Despite the rain, the party mood couldn’t be dampened and revellers enjoyed a range of activities and entertainment.
Musical headliners included blues group The Dustbowl Children, and Chris Allan’s Octopuss, who performed a full band tribute to legendary rock drummer, Cozy Powell.
Away from the music there was Ninja Tots martial arts, Phoenix Flames cheerleaders, Cirencester Creative Dance Academy and Active4Less Latin-inspired dance-fitness Zumba.
Phoenix favourites Decimal were also on hand with a skate ramp to thrill those in attendance.
