CIRENCESTER Town Council said that they were disappointed by anti-social behaviour which saw litter left at an outdoor gym.
A photo of the littered gym at Four Acres field in Chesterton was posted by Twitter user Alan Hughes (@AGH_57) on Saturday, August 20, who posted: "Who said this outdoor gym equipment was a waste of money? It is being used after all!"
He added: "This equipment is used only by children as a novelty play area or by others as somewhere to meet up to drink cider."

Chief executive officer of the town council, Andrew Tubb, responded to the photo: "The gym equipment has been installed following receipt of Gloucestershire County Council's (GCC) Active Together funding at four sites across the town and is proving very popular.
"We are obviously disappointed that this has occurred and would encourage residents to report anti-social behaviour to the Police.
"We will be installing a new litter bin at this site and increasing our collection frequency.
"All sites are also checked regularly for any issues."
He recommended anyone with further queries to contact the council's estate services manager, Martin Conyers, at martin@cirencester.gov.uk.
Councillor Joe Harris, who helped secure GCC funding for the outdoor gyms in Cirencester, said: "Outdoor gym equipment is fantastic, there are a lot of people using it and that’s encouraging to see.
"Like anything, you often get situations where people are anti-social. I am disappointed to see rubbish there.
"What I have done is to get the council to litter pick every day to make sure it is clear of litter and that it is safe.
"If any residents feel there is any anti-social behaviour, dial 101 and if it is an emergency, dial 999.
"We’ll be keeping tabs to prevent people misusing the equipment."
