Police appeal for information after assault on man in Cirencester
POLICE are appealing for information after an assault on a man in Cirencester.
The man was walking home in the early hours of Saturday morning along a section of secluded pathway between trees on Somerford Road when he was attacked from behind.
The man's mobile phone, a Samsung S5 Neo in a black and white case was stolen and he sustained bruising and swelling to his face.
Police would like to hear from anyone in the area in the early hours of Saturday morning who may have seen or heard something.
