A MAN from Cirencester has been charged with three shop burglaries in Bourton-on-the-Water.
Craig Russell, 45, of Oakley Road, Cirencester, appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Friday, August 12.
He was charged in relation to three break-ins at two shops last month (July).
Cor Blimey fish and chip shop on the High Street was burgled of £500 on Tuesday, July 12 before change was stolen from the shop till on Wednesday, July 27.
On the same day (Wednesday, July 27), £500 was taken from Shalom the Rainbow coffee shop on Moore Road.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Gloucester Crown Court for a plea hearing on Friday, September 9.
