The money raised has helped to purchase specialised rising helmets which would normally cost more than £300 each.

The bank branch will be beginning a new charity partnership from September. In May, TSB asked local communities across Britain to nominate a local charity to support.

TSB received over 25,000 nominations across Britain.

“It’s been fantastic to support Chipping Norton’s Riding for the Disabled Association, which is close to our hearts here in Moreton in Marsh and everyone working here has found our partnership really rewarding.

"As our partnership with Riding for the Disabled Association comes to an end, I’d like to wish them the very best for the future, and I look forward to announcing our new Local Charity Partner in September.”

Caroline Paxford, chairman of Riding for the Disabled Association (Chipping Norton branch), said: “It’s been great to work in partnership with TSB.  Their support has had a really positive impact on our charity and the work we do here in Moreton in Marsh.

“The £1,057 we’ve raised together is being used to purchase a number of specialised riding helmets for our visitors and also sweatshirts for the five children who we took to the Regional competition at Summerhouse Equestrian in Gloucester in May – they all looked very smart."
