A BODY piercing business based in Cirencester hopped at the chance to help raise funds for this year’s Phoenix Festival.

Everlasting Impressions, Cricklade Street, is the first this year to sponsor a nine gallon firkin brewed by Corinium Ales.

The community festival in the Abbey Grounds welcomes around 15,000 music-lovers every year and runs 100 per cent from donations.

Lucy Cordrey, of Corinium Ales, said: “We really enjoy running the real ale bar at the Phoenix and thought beer barrel sponsorship could provide another opportunity for local businesses, organisations, groups, or individuals to get involved with the Festival.

"There are over 20 barrels to sponsor for as little as £50 and you could be in for a chance to win a brewery tour and tasting for two in our new brewery premises.”

They are also offering advertising on the beer barrels during the festival weekend, promotion on social media and a free festival pint.

Kelly Keen, of Everlasting Impressions, said: “We love being a part of this fantastic festival and sponsoring a barrel of beer is a really fun and easy way of being involved. We are really looking forward to our free pint of beer too!”
