Woman arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after allegedly swigging beer behind the wheel
OFFICERS arrested a woman on suspicion of being four times over the drink-drive limit after she was allegedly seen swigging beer behind the wheel.
Cotswolds Police tracked down the 57-year-old woman yesterday after Chipping Campden residents reported seeing her drinking while driving at around 2pm.
A police spokesman said she was almost four times over the limit and spent 19 hours sobering up in in custody.
She will appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on June 26.
