  • SINCE Cotswold CVS went into liquidation, Tetbury instantly formed a working group which saved the two day centres meetings, thanks to the generosity of local groups and organisations. We are now looking at the possibility for funding to get back Tetbury’s dial-a-ride fully accessible community bus. At the moment there is an organisation which stepped in to assist. However many residents would like this service to be run once again in Tetbury. The working group has already been earmarked/pledged some funding for this. The working group is currently investigating whether it would be better to purchase or lease such a vehicle. Over the coming months businesses and individuals will be approached to see not only if they can help with either funding or whether they would be in a position to assist or even if they  would like to hire or use such a vehicle. The small working group would love to hear from anyone who wishes to help or get involved. If you have any thoughts or want to get involved please contact  either Tetbury Mayor Cllr Stephen Hirst, Deputy Mayor Cllr Kevin Painter, Cllr Caroline Morgan, Cllr  Patricia Burrell or ring Richard Smith at the council offices on 01666 504670.
