A MAN was arrested for an alleged assault on restaurant staff in Cirencester.
The assault by the man, in his 30s, happened outside a takeaway restaurant in Cricklade Street at midnight on Saturday, June 25 (commonly known as 'Friday night').
Police tweeted today: "Man arrested midnight for alleged assault on restaurant staff Cricklade St Ciren. Call us old fashioned but we suggest a tip not a punch."
