A TAILORS has proved it is a cut above the rest after snipping victory at a glittering event.

Shirt maker and tailors Barrington Ayre, based in Market Place, Cirencester, won the Gloucestershire Entrepreneur’s Business Award in Cheltenham last Wednesday as part of the Gloucestershire Business Show Gala Dinner.

The shop was praised for its work in the area as well as spearheading a national campaign for watch maker TW Steel, fronted by a Barrington Ayre client and Radio One DJ Greg James.

“It is nearly a year to the day that I picked up Cirencester Ambassador of the Year so it is another great achievement for my company,” said Barrington Ayre founder Tom Wharton. “It was great to work with TW Steel and Greg, in a different capacity. We are working with some great people at the moment and there are some real developments in the company.

“The Gloucestershire Business Show is a top event and combines so many different companies it is a must to get involved in. Congrats to all the other winners especially Star College and the Wiggly Worm charity as they were on our table for the evening.”
