RETIREES and their families in Tetbury raised a glass for the Queen's 90th birthday.
Lewsey Court, a retirement development in Tetbury by McCarthy and Stone, held an afternoon of royal celebrations.
Scones, sandwiches, strawberries and cream, fizz, Pimms and lemonade and other British refreshments were enjoyed in the court's gardens.
Debby Pavitt, sales and marketing eirector for McCarthy and Stone South West, said: “We are very thankful to all those who visited us at Lewsey Court to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday.
"The day was fantastic and lots of fun, with our guests and homeowners alike joining in with the celebrations in the Queen’s honour.”
Designed exclusively for over 60s, Lewsey Court allows homeowners to retain their independence in the form of home ownership with the peace of mind that care, support and friendship is close at hand.
