ORGANISERS of Malmesbury’s home-grown Boondocks Festival have released this year’s line-up in full – which include a star from the hit television show Game of Thrones and the Harry Potter film series.

Molotov Jukebox, fronted by Harry Potter and Game of Thrones star Natalia Tena, will be bringing their blend of genres including Balkan fiddle and Latin trumpet to the market town over the weekend of July 7-8.

Martin Luke Brown, currently tipped as the one-to-watch in the UK music scene, is also on the bill. Having toured with the likes of Jess Glynne and Jack Garratt, he has already signed a record deal with Parolophone Records.

Back by popular demand, last year's favourites Flight Brigade and The Tribe will also be on the bill, bringing back their fiddle fuelled rock, and reggae infused hip-hop respectively.

After announcing the line-up one of the festival organisers, Neil Muttock, said: “I'm so looking forward to seeing this all come together over two days and welcome all the bands to Malmesbury.

“We've been careful not to repeat too much of the line up from last year.

“Although the lineup went down really well at the first Boondocks, it's important to keep it fresh.

“We still have some local bands coming to play which I'm very pleased about.”

The festival is crowd-funded with the help of Malmesbury’s residents. This year the festival raised its target of £30,000 in less than two weeks.
