PEOPLE across the Cotswolds are going to the polls today to decide who should run policing in Gloucestershire.
Conservative candidate Will Windsor-Clive and Labour’s Barry Kirby are vying to unseat the current Police and Crime Commissioner Martin Surl, Independent.
The office of the PCC was brought in three-and-a-half years ago in an bid to make the police more accountable.
They are tasked with setting the policing plan, appointing high-level staff members and scrutinising decisions.
