HUNDREDS of pounds in cash was reportedly stolen yesterday from an elderly couple’s house in Siddington, while one of the occupants was likely in the back garden.
HUNDREDS of pounds in cash was reportedly stolen yesterday from an elderly couple’s house in Siddington, while one of the occupants was likely in the back garden.
Burglars broke into the property on Ashton Road between 2pm and 3.15pm, having forced one of the windows before stealing hundreds of pounds in cash from a wallet and purse, it is alleged.
It is also believed jewellery was stolen during the break-in.
No arrests have been made, though police ask anyone with information to call 101, citing incident number 265 of April 21.
