UPDATE: Snoopy was found at 9pm today. More to follow.
SNOOPY the beagle dog went missing this morning at 11.30am in Sapperton, near Cirencester.
Three-year-old Snoopy was out walking in Sapperton woods behind Sapperton Church when he disappeared.
His owners are Kiri Weeks, 32, and Dan Thomson, 33, of Peckham Walk, Cirencester.
Kiri said: "He's normally very good. But he saw a deer and was chasing it and did not come back. We are looking for him and we are quite worried.
"We're looking everywhere in Sapperton. We're hoping he is somewhere around here."
It was believed he could be heading towards Cirencester Park or towards the Winstone direction.
At around 4pm, a possible sighting was reported at Park Corner Farm in Winstone Road, 1.5 miles from Sapperton.
A Facebook group has been set up to help find him. Have you seen a beagel dog in the Sapperton or Cirencester area?
