AN ARTIST with a blossoming career has taken another step toward stardom after selling two original paintings to a business heir.
Barnsley artist Teddy M hit the headlines last year when famous musician Ed Sheeran took one his painted guitars on a world tour.
The instrument later auctioned for more than twice its estimate at £12,500.
Now, the artist is making waves again having recently returned from an all expenses paid trip to meet Fiat heir and art collector Lapo Elkann, who bought one piece and commissioned another.
Teddy M told the Standard he was “very proud”.
“Lapo has an amazing art collection including original works by Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst and many other legendary artists.”
