MEMBERS of an environmental pressure group made a trip to Lancashire to protest against fracking.
Frack Free Cotswolds travelled on February 9 to “lend support to local democracy defending its right to speak out”. The group also held a free film night at The Organic Farm Shop in Cirencester on February 3, where more than 50 people watched "the truth behind the dash for gas".
A group spokesman said: “A money-rich and powerful industry with government ears is hard to defend against, but for our future generations it is clear now that we must strive towards keeping fossil fuels in the ground.”
