DO you want to become part of Cirencester folk law?
That is what is on offer with the chance to sponsor four statues for the exciting new Hare Way.
Seven hares will dot the trail, which will wind its way around the route of the River Churn, linking some of the town’s best-loved green spaces.
Three of the hares have already been sponsored by the RAU, St James' Place and Mitsubishi Motors UK, but the final four are up for grabs.
The statues are designed by Alan Dun and expertly decorated by local artists Mike Smith, Luke Gunner, David Wells and Laura Fearn, who have spent the last few months perfecting their designs.
The grand opening of the trail will be on March 19 at 11am at Watermoor Corner.
Festival director Florence Beetlestone said: "Cirencester is so lucky to have these sculptures on display and this provides such an opportunity for local firms to get involved in the community."
Leaflets about the opening will be available at the Visitor Information Centre in the Corinium Museum from February 13.
