THE Cotswolds may turn from green to white this weekend as forecasters predict snow.

Falling temperatures look set to turn some of the weekend’s rain into snow.

Passing showers on Friday evening will relent to a cold but dry night and a strong chance of snow in the morning.

Forecasters expect a cold and blustery Saturday with plenty of rain, but in the evening temperatures will drop to 2C or colder and snow is likely to fall for at least a few hours in parts of the Cotswolds.

On Sunday, temperatures will stay low but the wind will keep up. As temperatures plummet to freezing there is a chance of further snow through the night as people in the Cotswolds wake up to another freezing day.
