THE Cotswold School in Bourton-on-the-Water was overwhelmed with support after asking for donations of coats for refugee camps in Syria as part of the CountryCoats2Syria initiative.
The school were expecting to receive a few bags, but within three days the office in which the coats were being collected was overflowing.
“It is wonderful to see such an outpouring of generosity from our local community”, said principal, Mr Morgan.
“These coats will be going to benefit those suffering a harsh winter in Syrian refugee camps.”
