FOUR people have been hospitalised to be treated for serious injuries following a three car collision the A429 at the Yanworth turning.
At around 4.30pm yesterday a blue BM4 Z4 travelling from Cirencester towards Northleach collided With a grey BMW Z4 and a silver C class Mercedes.
The people in the cars had to be cut free by the fire service and both BMWs suffered serious damage, while the Mercedes suffered significant damage.
Occupants of the cars were taken to various hospitals in Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Bristol for treatment and police officers closed the road for six hours after the collision while they investigated how it happened.
A cockadoo dog was thrown from one the vehicles when it rolled over and was missing for several hours before bring found uninjured near Northleach this morning.
Police are expected to provide more details about the injured tomorrow.
