A DOG thrown from a car during a serious accident has been found safe and well.
The cockapoo was lost following the three-car crash on the A429 between Yanworth and Northleach which happened at 4.30pm yesterday.
Four people were taken to hospitals in Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Bristol for treatment.
No new information is available about their conditions.
Sue Herbert, Gloucestershire coordinator for doglost.co.uk, contacted the Standard to say a local man had found the dog near the scene of the crash and that it was now safe and well in a secure location.
She is now appealing for help finding the owner, who she believes was taken to hospital after the crash.
Anyone with information can contact Sue at doglost.co.uk.
