KINGSHILL School’s year 11 rugby team beat Rednock School this week to become district champions and the most successful team in the school's history.

Led by captain Tom Woodward, the Cirencester school’s team won 27-22 on December 14 to claim the title.

This group of players have not lost any district games in 5 years and are now officially the most successful side to play for the school.

Seb Thomas, head of P.E. at Kingshill, said: “Despite a difficult start to the game, the team showed grit and determination and found a way to win.

“What a fantastic result for Kingshill School,” he added. “Congratulations to all members of the team.”
