Cirencester Hospital currently has no junior doctors on its books and an NHS spokesman said they were not “anticipating any impact” in the town because of strikes at other hospitals in the area.
Nationwide, 98 per cent of the group of health professionals voted for full strike action against government plans to impose new contracts in England from August next year.
