PHOTOS have emerged of Poldark actors on set at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester.
The well-known educational facility played host to the Sunday night favourite all of last week.
The star-studded cast, including Adain Turner (Ross Poldark), Eleanor Tomlinson (Demelza), Heida Reed (Elizabeth), and Jack Farthing (George Warleggan) descended upon the RAU Quad to film a Cornish market place scene, complete with markets stalls, vendors and even a pub.
The popular drama, set in Bodmin, Cornwall, in the 1790’s, pulled audiences of more than six million each week and is on its way back to living rooms due to popular demand. The new series is set to be broadcast next spring.
An RAU spokesman said: “It’s very exciting to see the RAU feature in series two of Poldark, we can’t wait to find out how the university fits into the storyline.”
