A PUBLIC meeting will be held in Fairford on Friday to find a resolution to a notoriously dangerous crossing.
School representatives, highways, police and councillors have been invited to discuss the school crossing, which was so stressful to man that the lollypop lady resigned.
The meeting was called by chair Chris Roberts after a near miss last week when a bus charged through the crossing, almost knocking people over.
Anyone is welcome to the event which organisers are urging to be constructive, rather than disruptive, and will be held Friday at 6pm in the Farmor Room at Fairford Community Centre.
If you have concerns about the crossing please contact Jack Pitts at jpi@wiltsglosstandard.co.uk or call 01285 627 321.
