NATIONAL Dyslexia Awareness Week is taking place this week, until October 12, at Cirencester Dyslexia Centre.
The centre offers tuition and assessments for children struggling with literacy and numeracy however, more importantly and possibly less known, they also run a support group for parents of any child that is struggling.
This brings the parents together to share their experiences and knowledge to help each other out and feel less isolated, as well as receiving expert advice from Marion Craven.
Their children do not need to be enrolled as students at the centre for the parents to attend the support group.
The centre is holding open mornings on October 16 from 9am-1pm. For more information visit overcomingbarriers.co.uk/home/4576855832
