CATTLE Country Adventure Park in Gloucestershire is preparing to unveil a creepy candy cottage as part of its Halloween festivities.
The animal park, in Berkeley, is gearing up for fun filled Halloween celebrations from October 22-November 1, and is busy creating a creepy cottage based on the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale.
The cottage will be true to the fairy tale where children were enticed into the witch’s captivity by eating sweets from her “candy themed” cottage.
To meet the wicked witch children must first board a tractor ride for a park tour, before navigating their way through the twists and turns of its spooky willow maze.
After completing the challenge children will be greeted by Cattle Country’s wicked witch and can listen to enchanting tales around her cauldron.
Children will also have the chance to skate on the park’s synthetic ice rink and toast marshmallows around a campfire.
Other activities planned as part of the Halloween celebrations include pumpkin carving, a scarecrow trail around the park and spooky face painting.
