The ever popular Petticoat Lane Street Market returned to the streets of Malmesbury over the weekend.

Malmesbury residents were out in full force for the annual event that sees the town covered in stalls selling everything from curries to fudge and everything in between.

Volunteer general manager at HEALS of Malmesbury, Alison Cross-Jones, said it had been a successful day for charities.

“We raised just over £600 in total,” she said. “There was a great atmosphere all day even though it was damp.

“It was still very busy despite the weather and there were loads of great stalls and some fantastic food.”
