A WELCOMING new group will bring together cancer sufferers so they can share their experiences.
The Cirencester Macmillan scheme dubbed Cirencester Mates will be launched with cocktails and expert advice at Somewhere Else, Castle Street, on September 8 at 7.30pm.
Jenny Jarvis, chairman of the Cirencester Macmillan team, said: "Cirencester Mates is a self-support group for anyone affected by cancer.
"It is a casual, relaxed environment in which to talk, shout or get advice away from their hospitals."
Further meet-ups are planned for October 13, November 10 and December 8.
