COMMUTERS are this morning battling heavy rain to reach their destination - but forecasters say the downpours should stop soon.
The Met Office says there will be a break in the storm this morning, leaving a fresh day, with temperatures reaching 20C.
"Outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, quickly clearing through the morning leaving a largely fresh, dry and bright day with some sunny spells," he said.
"A few blustery showers will move in from the west later, perhaps turning heavy in places."
Tonight will be largely dry with patchy cloud and clear spells.
"Scattered blustery showers will continue through the first part of the night, mainly in the west," he added.
Tomorrow is set to start dry and bright with a few scattered showers.
