CHILDREN had their chance to take part in Tough Mudder in Cirencester at the weekend, when they tackled a mini version of the event.
Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder, a mile-long course for children aged 7-12, is designed to inspire children to get out and be active and adventurous through teamwork and muddy play.
The route is a mile long, made up of four untimed laps and features nine obstacles including, The Tunnel of Terror, darkened tunnels, which competitors will have climb through.
British Olympic bobsledder, Shelley Rudman also attend the event with her daughter Ella and she was on hand to sign autographs and posing for pictures at the Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder, between 10am and 12pm.
After taking on their muddy adventure, all children will be rewarded with their very own Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder headband - emulating those awarded to adults in Tough Mudder.
